THE SAFEST, MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO MOVE HEAVY EARTHMOVING EQUIPMENT

Sleipner transport modules reduce the maintenance cost of heavy loading equipment, increasing productivity in the whole of mine operation.

The Sleipner principle is simple, safe and reliable. Because the modules are so versatile and simple, excavators used with it do not have to undergo any modifications.

With Sleipners, moving an excavator is 4 to 5 times faster than driving on tracks. Transport times will be reduced by approximately 80%. This results in more productive working hours. Also, the problems of tracked machinery damaging asphalt surfaces is avoided.

Thanks to flexibility of Sleipner products, loading can be planned more efficiently and at the same time the utilisation rate of equipment increases. To ensure the highest level of flexibility is achieved, we recommend a Sleipner transport module for each excavator.

Equipment Placement is the Authorised Distributor for Sleipner products throughout Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

LOWER OPERATION COSTS

Service and maintenance can be done at the workshop, as moving the equipment is no more an issue.

Another factor is that vibration caused by driving on tracks is avoided, so maintenance costs are further reduced.

Driving on tracks causes even more undercarriage and entire machine wear than the actual loading. Using Sleipners, the undercarriage life time can be doubled or even tripled.

SAFE TO OWN AND OPERATE

All operations are done mechanically. Operators stay in their cabins all the time.

During transport, tracks are just barely off the ground. The transport process can be interrupted anytime by the operator, just lowering the tracks onto the ground.

Operator's working conditions improve as driving on wheels causes less vibration.

Sleipners are equipped with automatic safety brakes. They are adjusted for slopes up to 20% and keep the Sleipners in place when parked in uneven areas.

Sleipner transport modules work in any weather condition and are easy to operate.

The first Sleipners are still in operation, after 10 years of use.
